De Good Norecht - radio sermons in Plautdietsch
Cornie B Loewen was born in 1928 and grew up a hard-working farm boy in the Red RIver Valley. He served as a Conscientious Objector in Ontario during the war years and gave his life to Christ at the age of 22. He and his wife Tina served as Spanish missionaries in Mexico for ten years, pastored in Morris, Manitoba for 20, and served as a Low German radio pastor for almost 7.
He worked diligently to study and teach in Plautdietsch, which was his mother tongue. He was a lifelong student of the Bible reading it through several times a year in varying translations and languages. As a family we have noted that this dialect continues to be many thousands of people's mother tongue and we hope you are blessed by listening to the Word of God as presented by our beloved father. His greatest dream was to be resurrected at Easter and this wish came true as he passed to glory on Easter Sunday, 1994.
